Nantahala River
The Nantahala River is one of the most popular whitewater rivers in the U.S.. The clear and cool Nantahala River runs through the scenic Nantahala National Forest. You'll raft over 20 fun and adventurous whitewater rapids. No previous rafting experience is required. Most beginners love it, and experienced rafters come back year after to enjoy the rapids.
It’s a great river for group rafting. And, when you raft from our Nantahala Rafting Center and Park you don’t have to rush off. You can make a day of it in the beautiful Nantahala Gorge. We operate on the Nantahala River via a Permit from the U.S. Forest Service.
We also raft the Tuckaseigee River (Tuck). No other outfitter offers you the choice of these two great whitewater rivers. Both are dam-controlled, which means you get predictable water levels throughout the rafting season.

- We are set-up to handle groups. Most groups we take are under 40 people, but we can easily handle up to 99 people in a group and can handle larger groups with a little extra planning.
